Postcards

These postcards were all found in a trunk that belonged to my great-great-grandfather, J. Otis Bosley. At first glance, you will notice that there is nothing written on them. There are no personal stories about visiting places on vacation or notes about the family... so what can they tell you? Once you consider the subjects featured on the postcards you will realize what can be learned from them, even without personal correspondences.

You can learn about the culture of the early 1900's. You can learn specific information about cities like Owensboro, KY and Lexington, KY and how they have changed over time. You'll learn about the architectural changes of buildings and the expansion of transportation. You can learn so much more!

What can you learn from these postcards or postcards that might be in the collection from your family packrat? Let's find out!
